The inspiration for this new series comes from the most entropic landscapes I came across on the internet.
Wether they are incidents, instabilities or crashes they are the catastrophes inherent to our age that constantly refresh themselves with a bigger headline or another breaking news.
Most of the time I find it really difficult to digest such contents. They are hard to fully represent in my mind and they bring contradictory feelings like attraction and terror, fascination and fear…
Through the MAD series I wanted to talk about these impactful sources that endlessly showcase points of no return while growing a white noise around them.
They leave me with a singular imprint and that’s why I started to create them on my own.
It’s in a deconstructivist mindset that I meticulously break everything appart in order to create these scenes.
I usually force the system to reach their critical states to provoke chaos and showcase fragilities.
