Chepertom, also known as Thomas Collet, is a French artist who obtained his master’s degree in drawing from the École de la Cambre in Brussels in 2020. His work revolves around the video medium, seeking to turn away from traditional creation processes. This is particularly achieved by exploring digital errors, also known as Glitch Art, through which the artist creates new series or formats.

Among the most recent ones, there is MAD, which draws inspiration from the most chaotic landscapes and addresses the catastrophes of our era. RAW is a series composed of raw material emerging from a process called datamoshing. The RAD series is built on the progressive reduction of the number of colors in the image through a dithering process. ROW is a series that testifies to industrial activity and its impact on landscapes in the Anthropocene era.

Beyond the world of contemporary art, where Chepertom’s works can be seen, his work also evolves in the domain of music and festivals, creating video clips as well as shows for emerging and established artists.
